My First Post

Hello, This is going to be the first of very many posts.
Their is going to be no pictures in this particular entry, however this is going to be a breif intoduction into me and my work. So where to begin, well im 16 and im currently living on the outskirts of Sheffield. I have been intrested in Photography as far back as i can rember, the main kick-start so to speak was when i took a GSCE in Photograpy two years ago, the course although not to my particular taste of subject restraints, however this has given me the foundations on which i am now usuing, Thanks to my enthusiastic, yet aggressive teacher, Mr Swain. I am now at the point where everything i see i look at it from a photographers perspective, looking for the correct veiw point, and ultimately a intresting picture. Apart from Photography i spend the majority of my time listning too and making music, Skating, Mountainbiking and walking, genrally spending as much time as i can outdoors, all this influnces my work.

My equipment at the moment is consists of ;

IXUS 40 ( 2gb SD )

Adobe Photoshop CS2

And im hoping to soon add a tri-pod becuase untill now i have been able to borrow the photography departments tri-pod's.
